BI Developer – (AA/EE) – JHB North

Seeking a results driven mid-level Business Intelligence Developer for an innovative and ground-breaking client in the northern suburbs. You will maintain Business Intelligence systems (Qlikview and Power BI applications) and you will establish, source and maintain Information Systems and Technology within the framework of Business Intelligence projects. Additionally, you will deliver BI model interfaces and data models from internal and external data sources, and control the proper functioning of BI reloads and ETL processes.

You will meet the following minimum requirements
• BSc Computer Science, BCom Informatics or relevant Business Intelligence Qualification/Certification
• Matric/Grade 12
• 3 – 4 years experience in a similar BI Developer role
• Strong SQL Programming knowledge including development experience in SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
• Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
• Understanding of star schema designs for BI reporting with the ability to design high performance BI solutions
• Capable of troubleshooting common database issues and various other issues
