Urgently looking for a Business Manager: Natural Resources for an excellent company.

Reporting Line: Regional Managing Director Southern Africa

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

In conjunction with the business strategy set by the Regional MD of the company, develop business to ensure revenue and profitability with a long-term successful performance. Full operational responsibility, Trade Energy, Trade Non Energy, Metallurgy, Mineralogy, OGC and Engineering Services.

Education

• University degree in a Science related program with a strong preference in Geochemistry or a related Field is required
• Proficiency in various types of computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CCLAS)

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years experience in a minerals laboratory/trade environment
• Expert working knowledge of the mining and minerals industry

• Client liaison and good communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent customer service, client support, and business service consulting skills
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment

• Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail
• Must have ability to make strong business decisions and be held accountable

Be willing to travel across Southern Africa
