Position: Business Unit Manager – Automotive
Location: Port Elizabeth

Requirements:
• Grade 12
• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronics)
• 10 Years’ experience at senior management level within a complex manufacturing environment, preferably automotive
• Exposure to Industry 4 and a keen interest in IT in the working environment
• Good team player
• Ability to understand business with a good business acumen

Responsibilities:
• Take responsibility of P&L of a division (excluding sales and marketing)
• Responsible functions reporting to this division:
o Production
o Maintenance (also some shared functions with other division)
o Quality
o Logistics (also some shared functions with other division)
o Tooling
o HR (also some shared functions with other division)
o Health and Safety (also some shared functions with other division)
o Environment management (also some shared functions with other division)
o IT (also some shared functions with other division)
o Finance is a support function
• Responsible for KPI’s for all the above functions
• Responsible for effective budget management
• Responsible for effective team building
• Responsible for continues improvement, 5S management and improvement
• Responsible to modernise the operation with regards to processes, IT, automation and ensuring a sustainable business is established
