SUMMARY

Our client a passionate South African Retailer is looking to employ a Chief Risk Officer. You will be in a leadership position, managing all risk frameworks across the organisation. You will advise on strategy formulation and business direction based on risk interpretation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitate the execution of Risk processes
Assist the board and senior management in establishing and communicating the organisation’s Risk objectives including risk management policies and risk appetite
Integrate risk management with the strategy development processes
Establish, maintain and continuously improve risk management capabilities
Develop, implement and maintain a Risk framework and supporting policies and procedures
Conducts risk management education and training from time to time
Implement risk assessment methodologies, models and systems
Maintain the risk maturity profile of the organisation

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Post-Grad Qualification/ MBA in Risk/ CA SA
8 – 10 years’ experience in Risk Management
Must be from a Large organisation
