Commercial Claims Consultant with relevant insurance related qualifications and minimum 3 years’ commercial claims experience, required for a position with an FSP based in Cape Town City Bowl.

Minimum requirements:
• Matric essential
• FAIS compliance – NQF 4 Short Term Insurance credits
• RE5
• Minimum 3 years’ Commercial Claims experience essential

Responsibilities:
• Claims administration
• First notification of loss and obtain all relevant documentation
• Process claims and ensure all claims and recoveries are processed
• Appoint Assessors/Loss Adjusters
• Apply policy terms and conditions
• Update internal systems and records
• Update all stakeholders
• Claims validity and estimate value and administer mandated claims
• Liaise with Insurer re claims in excess of mandate
• Obtain quotes for products/services
• Claims settlements
• Recoveries and follow-ups
• Cancellations and underwriting processes
