Our client, a financial service provider, requires the service of a Claims & Underwriting Administrator

Key performance areas:

? Ensure capturing of detailed, accurate information
? Ensure correct information is obtained from the customer and submitting the claim to the insurers
? Ensure claims are finalised within set parameters (turnaround time, terms and conditions applied accurately)
? Ensure regular feedback to customers and other stakeholders, as determined by the company and/ or customer requirements
? Building and maintaining relationships, and liaising with, key stakeholders to meet job objectives
? Take accountability for the resolution of customer complaints, with a view to customer retention
? Be innovative and use judgement to solve unique or unusual customer situations outside set parameters, with a view to customer retention.
? Deliver on Treating Customers Fairly principles in alignment with regulatory requirements
? Process and underwrite new business quotes for the intermediaries
? Load new policies on the system
? Do amendments to existing policies on the system
? Process policies on system for book take-overs and bulk increases
? Interpret and process information for policy retention

The successful candidate must have:

? Must have matric
? 5 Years underwriting & claims experience
? Sound knowledge of underwriting, claim processes, policy wordings, pricing and systems
? Excellent computer literacy (MS Office & must be able to do system processing)
? Excellent Knowledge of Tial / System A & Roc
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Afrikaans)
? Must be analytical and highly organized
? Attention to detail
? Be able to work under pressure and have sound problem solving skills
? Excellent inter-personal skills
? Effective time management skills
? Positive work record
? Able to work independently and as part of a team
