Client Insights Manager
Sandton
Salary range: R75 000 – R80 000 per month
Plus annual bonus equal to one month’s salary

Manage the in-house research centre that is responsible for creating a better understanding of the clients who purchase products, as well as understanding the client experience at various touch-points within the organisation, from sales to claim stage.
Lead client and market understanding across the business by being the voice of the client.
Lead market research projects from design to analysis and presentation stage.
Ensure data is analysed into meaningful, actionable insights to help improve decision making and drive business performance.
Lead internal Champion strategy to help identify and unpack client experiences across insurance and non insurance products.
Manage the interests of different internal stakeholders in terms of scheduling what research they require, and what can be undertaken and the appropriate methodology.
Manage the team of market researchers, and handle general responsibilities of managing a department and staff, i.e. ensuring interview targets are met on time and managing the departmental budget.
Bring client segments to life by updating the different profiles, their relationship to products and what this means for the business.
Undertake new research to provide insights into the business about its clients, or potential clients; what product benefits to include; and how to interact with them in order to increase successful client engagements.
Identify (new) research methods to understand trends in the industry and with clients, and changes in their behaviour and preference.
Manage relationships with external suppliers, where external research is required.
Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in the research industry.
MBA or Bachelor’s Degree, preferably one in a related field.
3 years of management experience advantageous.
Experience in the insurance industry, or financial services advantageous.
Strong ability to work with data analytics and visualisation tools, advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint..
Comfortable working with qualitative and quantitative data and methodologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey research results as insights to different stakeholders in a manner that is meaningful and valuable to them.
Manage relationships with internal clients and data suppliers.
Focused on cultivating and growing strong internal and external relationships.
Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preference will be given to behavioural economics experience or background e10.9c
