Your key job responsibilities as the Commercial Manager in Johannesburg will include:

- Analyse sales and other reports that give insight into how a company can make adjustments to improve performance
- Develop strategic plans to encourage business growth
- Use analytics to create action plans that are based off data and statistics and interpret results against targets
- Partnering with business managers to drive financial performance
- Oversee staff, suppliers, and contractors to ensure that deadlines are met
- Assist with negotiating contracts
- Oversee monthly spend with vendors
- Liaise with other departments regarding required services, follow up on invoices and payments (SSC)
- Assisting with the budgeting process, review the monthly financial reports and manage expenses over budget

Requirements for this Commercial Manager in Johannesburg:

- Proactive and strong communicator (commercial negotiator focus)
- 3+ years sales/business development experience
- Experience in iGaming, media or data sales experience and/or sports industry experience
- Knowledge of longer and complex sales cycles
- Ideally 3+ years’ experience with commercial focus
- Experience on regulated markets is an advantage
