RS Recruitment Services is assisting an organisation in the PACKAGING industry to recruit a CUSTOMER SALES REPRESENTATIVE. This position is based at their offices in PINETOWN.

OUR CLIENT HAS BEEN IN THE BUSINESS FOR OVER 20 YEARS PROVIDING SPECIALIST PRINTED, FLEXIBLE PACKAGING SOLUTIONS.

Purpose of the Role: To Be a liaison between customers and the relevant internal departments within the company, to ensure excellent service standards and respond efficiently to customer orders and queries in order to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Applicants should be/have the following:
Grade 12 (matric).
Sales/marketing diploma.
Relevant Bachelor’s degree will be an advantage.
Must possess a sound knowledge /understanding of the packaging business and have experience working in the industry.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in customer service management or sales administration environment.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience with new business development.
Good understanding of Syspro and Microsoft Office
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
Excellent customer service skills, written, verbal communication and listening skills
Strong Telephone etiquette – Confident communicator with negotiation skills.
Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and manage time effectively

Responsibilities but not limited to:
New business development.
Maintain current clients.
Order processing and query resolution.
Customer Liaison – first point of contact.
Meeting of targets and maintaining database and client files.
Securing Raw Materials (Buyer).
Continuous learning of new products and existing products.
Management of Slow-moving stock obtain a list of the slow movers and identify customers that can utilize the product.
Acquiring quotes identifying and communicating pricing discrepancies.

Remuneration:
R12k to R20k ctc neg, depending on qualifications and experience.
