Position: Debtors Clerk
Type: Permanent
Location: Port Elizabeth (Perseverance)
Remuneration: R17 000 to R20 000 Cost to Company (Commensurate with Qualification and Experience)

Requirements/Duties:
Grade 12
Qualification would be highly advantageous
5 Years’ experience in similar role in Transport / Logistics Environment
Highly Computer Literate
Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Excel
Intermediate skill on Pastel
Experience in Full Debtors Function:
• Receipting in Pastel & Datatim
• Sending out statements to customers
• Weekly projections and receipts
• Assist with Customer / Client queries
• Claims submitted by Customers
• Processing of credit notes and customer journals in Pastel & Datatim
• Debt Collection
• Managing Debtors handed over to Attorneys
Reporting to Management on all figures and statistics
Credit Applications
Opening of new accounts
Checking credit and limits
Balance comparisons (Recon) Pastel & Datatim
Debt Collection
Bulk invoicing schedules and sending POD’s to customers
Responsible for analysis of debtors age analysis with comments for overdue amounts
Must be able to work in a highly pressurised environment
Must be able to work in a team environment
Must be able to meet deadlines and targets
