Depot/Sales Manager - Bituminous Products (East London)

My Client a large Construction and Materials Supply Company operating throughout South Africa, Africa and the Middle East is looking for suitably qualified/experienced Depot/Sales Manager - Bituminous Products

A Depot/Sales Manager is required for an international materials supply company in Port Elizabeth. Reporting to the Cape Town Business Unit Manager, the successful person will be responsible for a variety of management, administrative, sales and finance tasks.

- Handling of cash sales both with walk in – and telephonic customers
- Forwarding possible sales leads to the commercial team for follow up
- Daily accurate stock summary
- Ordering of products
- Ensuring sufficient stock on hand
- Debtors
- Creditors
- Cash Book
- Preparation of month end – and year end administration and reporting
- Processing of transactions on financial software package
- Control of petty cash
- Daily client liaison/queries
- Handling correspondence

Requirements :

Qualifications & Experience :

Previous experience in the industry a plus
Some knowledge of our products advantageous
Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous (Admin, Finance, Sales)
Previous experience in debtors, creditors, stock management essential
Previous experience in customer liaison essential
