MAIN JOB PURPOSE

? The digital content developer has the primary responsibility for creating, improving and maintaining a range of digital content to support Signa Academy achieve its goals.
? He/she is also responsible for the creation of creative original content that keeps the audience Interested and updated. Also, to publish content on a variety of digital platforms in-line with Signa Academy’s digital transformation strategy.
? He/she will be responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to develop, plan and write/edit training documentation in line with the identified market and training needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

? Minimum of Diploma in learning and development or equivalent
? Experience in copywriting, graphic design, programming, or a related field may be advantageous.
? Communication and marketing qualification/certificate will be advantageous.
? Strong computer skills including MS Office and Digital platforms.
? Demonstrated ability to project manage the design and document digital systems/platforms and digital learning solutions.
? Track record in leading and managing the implementation of digital educational programmes.
? Strong working knowledge of content management software is a must

Tertiary Education in:
? At least a bachelor’s degree in a related Learning and Development field.
? Learning and Development qualification at least at diploma level or experience in the Learning and
Development industry for 5+ years.
? High level of prior learning on computer systems/, presentations and e-learning/digital platforms e.g., Google classrooms, Blackboard, MS Teams, Moodle etc.

EXPERIENCE

? Minimum of 6 years of experience in content development for educational learning programmes
? Moderator and assessor experience advantageous
? At least 5 years of experience in a training environment
? At least 5 years of experience successfully leading a digital learning initiative or project
? 3 years’ experience in Learner Management System
? Experience in effective usage of digital learning tools
? Minimum of 10 years computer skills including MS Office
