Maternity Contract role (6 months) for an innovative Digital Agency based in Cape Town.

The role reports to the Head of Digital and will be responsible for the Digital Marketing Team.

DUTIES include amongst others:
-Responsible for all new business targets and digital acquisition
-Manage the development, execution and optimisation of all paid digital efforts, including displayed advertising, affiliate marketing, mobile, SEM and SEO
-Responsible for Social Media Management including ORM and lead generation
-Drive Turnover and Production for various digital products and e-commerce across all digital channels
-Responsible for online content management aligned to the content and brand strategy
-Monitor alerts related to the ORM
-Develop cross-sell, up-sell, rebound and retention initiatives as well as 3rd party revenue streams
-Responsible for planning and budget control of all digital marketing costs
-Analyse and report on customer behaviour, User Experience and competitor/market insights, advise on opportunities to enhance existing strategies and evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
-Stay abreast with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
-Identify other digital marketing channels to further generate traffic and revenue
-Manage agency and vendor relationships to ensure all outsourced efforts are of high quality, cost-effective and brand-compliant
-Identify opportunities for applying new technologies, digital products and services to online campaigns
-Ensure the digital marketing strategy is aligned to the latest trends as well as the overall Clients Digital Strategy, ensuring it is aligned to the business long-term objectives.

KEY COMPETENCIES
-Keep abreast of new technologies and ensure that the Client is at the forefront of developments within the Digital Marketing industry
-Ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and shareholder requirements
-Manage the team to optimal performance, engagement and ensure succession
-Excellent attention to detail
-Ability to analyse and work with data
-Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills
-3-5 years working experience with Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Tag Manager, UX Tools, Paid Social Media, Email Marketing, Display Retargeting, Programmatic Advertising
-1-2 years experience in the Financial Services industry
-Digital Marketing Degree
