Digital Media Account Manager

We are looking for a Digital Account Manager for an IT Company in Port Elizabeth

Manage existing digital media accounts and introduce the department to prospective clients.

Key Requirements:
A BA degree in media/communications or similar that is relevant to this position
A strong command of the English language and the ability to write concisely
A creative and enthusiastic personality
Ability to handle pressure and to meet deadlines
Passion and love for your work and the industry
Ability to interface with existing clients, and make contact with prospective clients

Key areas:
Social media marketing: developing a distinct online presence by attracting high numbers of internet followers through social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.
Social media management: manage the social media platform on behalf of a client.
Search engine optimisation (SEO): developing strategies to increase the number of visitors to a website by achieving high-ranking placements in search results, primarily using content optimisation.
Code optimisation done by the development team.
Pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns: sponsored online advertising paid for by the business to appear alongside non-paid search results. (Research keywords, compilation of adverts)
Content generation and optimisation for client and internal websites

It will be expected of the candidate to remain up to date with current technologies in the key areas of operation.

Salary: R14 000 – R16 000 ctc per month
