Our client, in the agricultural industry, requires the service of a Digital Media Specialist who will be responsible for creating and managing digital related projects for the organisation.

Key performance areas:

? Manage functionality of interactive flash files, making sure they work as intended
? Analyse media metrics.
? Develop and implement online marketing policies and projects.
? Improve search engine optimization and general discovery of content by target groups.
? Analyse and report on web traffic, analytics and engagement.
? Upload and maintain all web platforms, including app content.
? Capture and track public sentiment and interest around the industry or product.
? Maintain web-related media and update existing resources as needed.
? Creating online ads, seasonal content, newsletters and calendars.

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a Bachelor Degree in Media Design, Digital Media or similar field.
? Must have previous experience in a similar role.
? Experience with Paid Searchers and Search Engine Optimization will be advantageous
? Knowledge and interest in agriculture and science communications will be an added advantage.
? Excellent Writing skills in both English and Afrikaans.
? Excellent computer literacy (Working understanding of WordPress, Google Analytics, HTML, Canva, Power Point)
? Excellent administration skills
? An objective thinker with good analytical skills.
? The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
? A strong knowledge of latest graphic design techniques and the ability to produce media files in order to help advertise the organisation.
? A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
? A team player, with the ability to work independently.
? A creative problem solver who can multitask effectively.
