Production / Engineering/Maintenance
Role Summary

To maintain acceptable efficiency standards of Plant and Machinery.

Key Tasks

• Repair and maintain electrical/mechanical
and production equipment
• Tend to breakdowns in such a manner that
there is minimum lost time
• Control on spares used
• Log all spares and breakdown data
• Perform TPM
• Assist with projects i.e. alteration of
machine/upgrades

Qualification & Experience
• N3 Electrical/Matric with Maths and Science
• Trade Test Certificate: Electrician
• Minimum 4 years in production environment
• Working knowledge of PLC’s and VFD
• Working knowledge of electrical equipment
and pneumatics
