Core role: Design electronic hardware & firmware (software) for new & existing automation products

Essential Skills/Requirements

• Completed Matric
• Completed degree in BSc Engineering, Electronics & Mechatronics
• 4 – 5 Years’ experience in design of hardware & firmware (software) for the (preferred) automation industry
• Solid C# & Python programming skills
• Proven skills & aptitude relating to electro-mechanical products (automation)
• Project management skills & experience in the automation/engineering industry
• Knowledge of electronic design, test design, PCB layout, motor control & test design
• Experience relating to SANS (SABS) & IEC standards
• Strong communication & written document skills

Responsibilities

• Work on different projects for clients relating to electronic hardware & firmware (software) for electronic automation products
• Work in a team to design electronics, firmware, FCB layouts, motor control & testing designs depending on project type.
