Logistic/Supply Chain or Procurement qualification
Min. 5 years working experience in warehouse, logistics/ procurement in a Engineering environment is essential.
Must have had supervisory role experience
Gained experience in all logistics; imports, exports, local road / rail freight, shipping terms etc.
Computer literate
Experience gained in Imports and Exports
Negotiation skills
Understanding and of working experience of creditors
Execute procurement of engineering finished goods + raw materials from suppliers
Logistics requirements
Find best product for best price from reliable vendors
Assure the acquisition of all goods/ services meet the requirements of company
Assist with estimates / quotes for project bidding / tenders
Strong working relationships with suppliers to confirm lead-times and monitor open purchase orders for orders on time deliveries
Proactively report product and material availability issues
Coordinate imports + exports with international suppliers and customers, responsible for the required international shipping / commercial documents
Ensure all materials are received on time.
Must be able to start immediately or within 2 weeks
Must have a driver’s license and own transport
Salary Package up to R 40 000 neg. market related basic + Provident Fund
