Our client is seeking an Estimator in the Sales and Marketing Department.

Overview of Key Activities:

Work under the Companies Senior Estimator receiving guidance on the Companies Tender/estimating process.
Engage with Senior Managers to develop and define enquiry scope and requirements.
Prepare a technical/Customer specification.
Prepare a costing estimate and interrogate costing inputs to create a price quotation.
Prepare tender documents.
Finalize and process internal order documents.
Hand over order to Contracts Manager and assist with internal launch of new orders.
Receive and process enquiries for spare parts.
Process any orders for spare parts, including internal order paperwork, expediting supply of parts, freight, delivery and payment.
Any other reasonable activity requested by the Senior Estimator or your manager.

Essential Requirements:

A National Diploma or Degree in the field of Engineering, Finance or Marketing (or appropriate field).
Practical experience (4-years or more) in an Engineering Design/Drawing Office, Finance Office or Marketing Office.
Have excellent verbal and written English language skills.
Intermediate level computer literacy.
Must be prepared to undergo written and verbal assessments.

Advantageous Requirements:

Knowledge on tank containers including drawings, regulations, operations and industry players.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Additional languages (German, Dutch, French).
Global awareness, political and cultural (specifically USA and Europe).
