SUMMARY

Our client a leader in the agricultural sector, with over four decades of pioneering in the pest control solutions space, is looking to employ a Factory Accountant. In this position, you will prepare monthly cost management reporting with detailed variance analysis, budgets and forecasts and support production, procurement, demand planning and supply chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to provide insights into business
Monitoring and controlling costs, expenses, budgets, identifying areas of overspending, inefficiencies, and waste, and recommending corrective actions to optimize resource allocation
Developing and maintaining financial models, projections, and scenarios to support strategic planning, investment evaluation, and decision-making processes
Conducting cost analysis and profitability assessments for products, services, projects, or business segments
Performing variance analysis and trend analysis of key performance indicators
Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts, posting journal entries, and preparing accruals and adjustments as needed
Providing financial insights and recommendations to management on cost reduction and improving operational efficiencies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Communicate financial information, analysis, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

BCom Honours and completed CIMA
2 to 5 years of Manufacturing Financial Accounting
