Position:
6 Month contract as Field Auctioneering Assistant based in Ferndale, Randburg

Reports to:
Head of Field Auctioneering

Minimum requirements:
• Grade 12/National Qualifications Framework (NQF) 4
• Tertiary qualification in administration
• Personal/workplace achievements
• 3-5 years’ administration experience
• Computer literacy - Intermediate MS Office skills required
• ADRS CRM, APT, CAS & SAP system knowledge
• Thorough knowledge, understanding and application of administration principles, practices, and systems
• Own transport and a valid driver’s license

Key Duties:
• Manage the end to end administration process within the Auctioneering department.
• Prepare auction lists as requested.
• Provide collectors with stock details and open accounts for auctioneers to capture AGR on APT.
• Arrange and authorize re-deliveries for ADRS and Auctioneers.
• Verify details of Bidvest letters.
• Upload AGR, PC and Section 127 documents on CAS system.
• Action all accounts where customers failed to honor payment arrangements and ensure all new payment arrangements are captured on APT system.
• Manage and resolve all Voluntary Surrender settlement queries.
• Attend to queries received on SAP and SOG report.
• Able to provide accurate month-end figures within agreed timelines.
• Ensure Auction calendar is kept up to date with follow-up on pay over of proceeds within agreed timelines.
• Action and distribute manual AGR register and Goods on Hand requests during audits.
• Arrange the collection and storage of auctioneering documentation.
• Understand and apply the standards set out in all legislation that affects the Auctioneering department.
• Meet and exceed the requirements of auctioneers and collectors.
• Deal effectively and timeously with customer complaints and ensure that complaints are resolved or escalated within agreed timeframes.
• May be required to travel from time to time for training and audit purposes.
