Roles and Responsibilities

A leading supplier worldwide of packaging equipment and solutions for the food, pharmaceutical and healthcare industries requires a field service technician to attend to maintenance and breakdowns of equipment at customer sites.

• Reports to service manager
• Service equipment at customer sites
• Attend to breakdowns of machines
• Responsible for stock keeping
• Writing of reports, service documentation and administrative duty’s relating to services and breakdowns

Requirements
• Grade 12.
• Trade test Electrician (Red seal, section 13)
• 2-3 years post qualification electrical experience
• Mechanical experience/ background.
• PLC experience in maintenance and fault finding.
• Computer literate.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical, pneumatics and valves.
• Motor AC Drives.
• Valid drivers’ licence
