FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER - Johannesburg
JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS
Relevant accounting / financial qualification.
Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.
Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Person will be required to manage the full finance and administration component of retail ensuring that the operation runs smoothly, efficiently and effectively.
Input into job profiles.
Performance contracts are discussed and agreed.
Formal performance reviews are held at least annually.
Measures are used to take appropriate remedial action.
Develop a skilled team.
Hold regular one on one individual staff meeting, to discuss progress of individual areas of accountability.
Fixed assets – to be checked against asset register on a quarterly basis.
Ordering and invoicing.
Staffing administration i.e. attendance registers, meal allowances and overtime.
Gift cards sales.
To implement agreed corrective actions on all audit findings.
Month end accruals.
Forecasting on a quarterly basis.
Monthly financial reporting including the completion of the owner reporting pack.
Capital expenditure reporting.
Turnover, foot count, gift voucher sales, parking statistics for tenant stats analysis report.
Retail and marketing team expense control.
Completion of cost saving schedules.
Monitor transactions as per forward statement.
Checking of monthly statistical information, which is compiled by the Administrator / Receptionist.
Telephone system / costs.
Weekend duty roster is in place monthly covering reception, weekend duty manager and reception.
Salary offered: R20 000-00 – R25 000-00 per month
