STC-SA is seeking an accountant / financial accountant for its Cape Town office, providing an excellent opportunity to join a growing team.

Requirements/Qualifications
• 5 or more years’ experience as an accountant within a franchise motor dealership
• Strong analytical skills set
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Must be able to work under pressure

Responsibilities
• Assisting with implementation of finance department controls
• Review of accounts payable, accounts receivable, WIP
• Review of bank allocations
• Review of ad-hoc payments
• Financial audit liaison & preparation
• Review of intercompany balances
• Preparation of VAT information from accounting system
• Preparation & review of monthly management accounts/budgets/forecasts
• Liaison with other departments to regarding finance-related matters
• Assistance with head office entities where required
• Other ad-hoc projects as required
