RedCat Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced FINANCIAL BUSINESS ANALYST for concern based in the Umhlanga area, Durban.

Please note – this is not an accounting role, it requires someone with a strong analytical background, who will handle executive reporting and work with Group Financial Director closely on special projects.

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Chartered Accountant qualification with 1-year post articles experience.

Big 4 articles preferred.

Strong academics (academic transcripts must be provided).

First-time board exams pass preferred.

Valid driver’s license.

Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).

Working closely with the Group Financial Director on special projects and executive reporting.

Management of group financial planning.

Performance of group valuations.

Shareholder related reporting.

Group procurement reporting.

Technical advice based on scrutinizing business agreements, understanding of group operations, and technical knowledge.

Assisting with funding related matters and annual building valuations.

SARS tax returns: tax submissions and ad hoc e-filing projects for the group.

Assistance with business plans.

Financial statements for trust and ancillary companies.
