Introduction
We're seeking an experienced Financial Reporting and Accounts specialist - Contract position - Cape Town. The successfull individual will be responsible for Financial reporting and managing of accounts.

Duties & Responsibilities

Evaluate reporting requirements in the MCS and GRAP financial reporting frameworks
Provide regulatory, policy, governance frameworks and tactical advice

Perform financial reporting pertaining to:
- Leases
- Assets
- Banking and Cash Management
- Debt and Revenue
- Liabilities and Expenditure

Assist with input associated to assurance engagements
Maintain programs to maintain the Standard Chart of Accounts (SCOA),
Prepare financial reports and accounting for assets, liabilities, revenue, expenditure, budget statement, disclosure notes and accounting policies
Perform change management in operating and systematic processes
Obtain and prepare input to the budget processes
Assist with input process and/or systematic input for revenue and other adjustments
Perform costing evaluations to ensure that mobility service offerings are rendered at the lowest possible costing levels
Perform document control related activities

Desired Experience & Qualification

An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/ Bdegree) in Accounting Science
Valid Code B (or higher) driver’s license.
Own reliable transport to travel to/from and between 3 operational sites
A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
Availability to work overtime, on weekends, and on a shift or rotational basis if required
Minimum of 3 years proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Fluent in spoken, reading, and written English

Package & Remuneration
Salary: R676.00 per hour
Contract: Fixed term
