STORE FINANCIAL MANAGER

- Based in RUSTENBURG, North West.

Leading Retail & Wholesale Organization seeks a dynamic and suitably qualified / experienced applicants to join their dynamic team in order to fulfil the above-mentioned position.

Duties & Responsibilities

The suitable candidate should possess the following skills and attributes in order to be successfully considered for the role.
Qualification: -

Bcom accounting (Or similar accounting qualification) (ADVANTAGE)
Article (ADVANTAGE)
Experience: -
5 year ‘s minimum working experience (post articles)
3 year managing staff
Purpose of the position: -

The store financial manager will oversee the full financial financial function of the store. Ensuring timely accurate information is maintained to enable the key business players to make sound/timely business decisions.
To uphold and improve corporate governance in their business units.

Duties: -

Duties included but not limited to the following:-
- Full finance function including (not limited to) review of cash book, journals as required, debtors, creditors and stock issue.
- Management of administration staff store finance clerks (Direct) as well as support administration staff (Indirect)
- Dailey, weekly and monthly reporting to head office.
- Staff rostering and maintenance of payroll records for submission to heads office
- Meeting all deadlines as set out by head office
- Ensure store compliance with set policy and procedures
- Review and reporting back to the executive committee on a weekly/monthly basis on store performance.
- Supplier relations and direct payments in consultation with head office
- Capital expenditure and planning
- Liaise with external auditors and finalisation of onsite audits
- Any other duties or functions as determined by Store General Managers or Head Office
- Safe guarding of company assets specifically stock , assets and cash
- Able to assist staff manager as required

- Will be required to attend all stock takes (3 – 4 times a year)
