ntroduction We current have a vacancy for a Developer who is passionate about front-end development using Django, Python, Jquery, and Bootstrap.
Job Functions Information Technology Industries Financial Services Specification Front end development
•The candidate’s responsibility will first and foremost be front-end development.
•Extrapolate from a basic requirement set
•Prototype ideas fast and understand the concept of failing fast
•Ensure the required alerts and notifications are set up.
•Ensure code quality is exceptional and difficult concepts documented
•Ensure code is safe and secure.
•Recommend technology to be used to make our lives’ easier and more automated.
•Automate everything
•Grow within the team and get involved with the back-end development (Python) as well Requirements
•A completed matric / Grade 12
•At least 4 years’ experience in front-end development and at least 1 framework (does not have to be Django or Python), with a willingness and desire to move over to Django and Python.
•Good understanding of SQL (SQL Server advantageous) DML and DDL to write and troubleshoot basic queries.
•Solid understand of REST architecture and service and API consumption
•Solid JQuery, Bootstrap, CCS, HTML etc understanding and experience.
•Solid server side framework experience and understanding (again, Django and Python advantageous) but the candidate will only work in Django and Python so must be willing to move over to a new framework and language.
•CI/CD understanding and implementation
•Must have solid experience with GIT (or related)
•Apache/IIS/Nginx understanding and experience
