Funds Administration Manager (Urgent role) – Cape Town

We are urgently seeking an experienced Funds Administration Manager (retirement, provident and pension funds). You will be responsible for managing a diverse team of client services administrators for a portfolio of funds, managing workflow, and provide guidance and direction to achieve benchmarks within admin service delivery.

Minimum Requirements include:

• Matric
• Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in retirement funds
• 5+ years management experience in retirement fund administration
• RE Qualification
• Certificate in Insurance or FET certificate in Short Term or Long Term Insurance or equivalent Retirement Finds related certification
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Excel, PowerPoint and fund administration software (eg Everest)
• Solid employee benefits knowledge (non negotiable)

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Monthly reconciliations, trustee reports, compliance status and reports
• Ensuring that monthly productivity targets are met
• Monitoring performance and productivity standards and identifying areas of improvement
• Assisting in coaching, training and development of staff
• Attending board and client meetings
• Running of monthly pensioner payrolls
• Feedback report presentations to senior management
