Graphic Designer (Fashion/Retail Industry) - Sandton

Salary: up to R17 000 per month (dependent upon experience in Fashion Industry)

To start immediately/as soon as possible - Must have Fashion Graphic Design experience and an IMPRESSIVE Portfolio to send to client

A large and well known clothing brand based in Rivonia, Sandton are currently looking for a Graphic Designer to start as soon as possible. Must have experience in retail, videography and photography as well. Send CV with small portfolio or link to online portfolio when applying.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Required
Matric
Degree/Diploma or further education (certificates) in Graphic Design – Please send diploma/degree
Must have some Fashion Graphic Design experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience working with the full Adobe Creative Suite of apps
Experience in social media and digital advertising design: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube videos, PPC/PPM Advertising
Must have Fashion/Retail background – preferred
Own Transport
Must be able to handle extreme pressure

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Graphic Design:
Design or create all graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as signage, displays, and social media posts.
Maintain all graphic content on all company platforms
Design of all graphic content on all store specific campaigns

Projects:
Utilizing all resources available to company to ensure that company stays on track with the planned marketing & promotions plan.
Coordinating of all marketing related matters with the Social Media Manager.
Responsible for art direction for all photoshoots and prepare necessary references for shoots.
Develop and maintain CI (corporate identity) manual

Group Marketing and Advertising Campaigns
Prepares mailers, brochures and flyers by formatting content and graphics, arranging printing and online content for social pages
Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Administration:
Assist with general admin and coordination tasks as instructed
Create birthday cards for Head Office birthdays for that month
Maintain a design data library (print and open files) with proper index system for Company use
