Head: Advanced Analytics & Modelling (Financial Services)

A leading Consulting firm requires the skill of a dynamic individual to join them and thrive within this Senior Management role.

You will be the executive lead for the Analytics, Data & Insight division, where your primary role will be to identify new business, drive growth and capabilities. You will act as a senior-level data leader and consultant, to spot and grow opportunities and help our clients build world-class data-led solutions. You will engage with organisations in various sectors, and understand their business challenges and unlock opportunities to utilise analytics in resolving these challenges.

The ideal candidate will have experience in advanced analytics / machine learning / predictive analytics and/or providing analytical inputs into financial and risk models. Additionally, you will be adept at programming in R, or SAS, SQL, VBA and Python.

You will meet the following minimum requirements
• Prior experience as an Analytics Manager or Data Scientist or similar role in a fast-paced and high-output environment (consulting, banking, start-ups, major technology company)
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management, Mathematics, or a related field
• Deep knowledge of Excel, R and SQL; familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, SAS)
• Superb communication, analytical and organisational skills
• Sound experience in predictive analytics (non negotiable)
• Previous experience in Consulting space, as well as Financial Services/Investments/ Banking is a must
