Complement Recruitment are recruiting for an Occupational Health and Safety HSE OHS Graduate for a 1 Year Fixed Term Contract in Hillcrest, Durban, eThekwini. This position requires an energetic job seeker, looking for exposure in the corporate environment to kickstart their career in OHS. The position consists of shifts and your own transport would be required.

Purpose of Position:

This position requires an energetic job seeker, looking for exposure in a manufacturing environment to kickstart their career in HSE OHS. Basic Knowledge of the requirements of the OSH Act, National Environmental Management Act, COID Act


Minimum Requirements:

• Matric, Diploma / Degree in Health, Safety, Risk, Environmental, OHS or related
• Own Transport – Must be able and willing to work shifts
• Located in Durban, eThekwini - ideal for job seekers located in Hillcrest, Pietermaritzburg, Umlazi, Pinetown, Chatsworth, Phoenix
• Able to start immediately

Duties:

• Reviewing all applicable legal and project health and safety requirements and providing support to management to help ensure compliance at all times.
• Knowledge of environmental health and safety management.
• Knowledge of the HSE laws, regulations, processes and safety requirements.
• Assisting with the implementation of effective hazard identification and risk management processes
• Compiling and maintaining all health and safety-related documents and records required
• Communicating relevant health and safety information
• Undertake surveys and evaluate risks to health in the workplace
• Record facts or details of procedures in the workplace
