Client based in Steeldale is currently recruiting a Heat Treatment Assistant:
Areas of Accountability:
Focus on customer service related to heat treatment
Receiving and dispatching of completed customer material and opening job cards
Operation of salt-bath and vacuum furnaces and associated administration & tests
Ensuring timeous completion of heat-treatment jobs
Legal Compliance (Health & Safety)

Minimum Experience and Skills Required:
Basic computer experience in MS Office
Adaptable to different cultures and situations
Ability to read mechanical drawings / create mechanical sketches
Ability to do a variety of in-house repairs
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical environment with contactable references
Reliable own transport and at least a code 8 driver’s license

Qualifications Required:
Matric Certificate and a recognised formal mechanical or metallurgical trade (e.g. Olifantsfontein Red Seal) or a technical college / university diploma
Any other technical qualification in addition to the above will be to your advantage
Any administration qualifications will be advantageous
