A small to midsize dynamic TTL agency is looking for a mid-level freelance illustrator/character designer to design a range of characters with interchangeable props and clothing that will be 3D modelled by our animation team.

The company in question does all kinds of design and illustration work, but focuses largely on motion graphics, animation, VR experiences and broadcast design.

As an illustrator/character designer, you will be responsible for taking a brief and turning it into a series of fully illustrated characters suitable to be used as the blueprint for 3D models. There will need to be a front, side and back design of each character for the modellers to work from and several versions of interchangeable props or outfits.

Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of working experience as an illustrator or character designer
- Specialising in Character design
- Strong conceptual abilities
- Portfolio showcasing character illustration work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- The ability to see projects through from inception to production

Duration:

Currently, the individual will be working with us on a Freelance basis, project by project.
