Import & Export Co-ordinator Brackenfell Cape Town

Our Imports & export client in Brackenfell is looking for a Imports Exports Co-ordinator in the Brackenfell Industrial area of Cape Town

Minimum Requirements:
Matric, with diploma / degree / Courses relating to the industry will be an advantage
3-4 years’ experience in same role and must have Perishables experience
Must have driver’s license

Key Responsibilities:
Managing Imports
Corresponding with suppliers and Applying for import Permits
Inland freight and shipping rates, depending on method of purchase
Monitoring shipments, updating import schedules, and Allocating forward covers
Managing clearing and liaising with clearing agents.
Capture Stock, GRV and Managing stock allocations, and Storage

Manage Exports
Arranging relevant transport (Road, Air or Shipping)
Liaising with Suppliers (Stock Collection)
Liaising with clearing agents
Liaising with DAFF, Documentation, and permit requirements
Liaising with clients (Import permits)
Tracking transport

Managing Local logistics, Stock deliveries
Stock Management, Storage releases (Stock) and Local logistics’
