Industrial Engineer

An Automotive factory in Pietermaritzburg is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer with a proven track record that will be based in Pietermairtzburg, South Africa. You will be part of the Continuous Improvement team and responsible for streamlining all components of the existing manufacturing processes and new processes.
The candidate should be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator and an expert in Industrial Engineering.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
College diploma or B.Degree in Indutrial Enigneering or related field
5 year working as an Industrial Engineer and in engineering systems
Ability to work with other management and clients
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to delegate efficiently but comfortable to get his/her hands dirty
Not an 8 to 5 person
Ability to implement and see tasks through to completion
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive 5S program
Time studies and ensuring production targets are met, Control Plans
Training
Super user of the internal production software
Capacity Studies
Waste reduction
Safety in the workplace
