SUMMARY

Our Client from the Real Estate industry is seeking to appoint an Infrastructure Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role is part of the department (development team) responsible for developing a City. The role is responsible for planning and rolling out all remaining bulk infrastructure and related projects, as well as maintenance and/or ad-hoc development-related projects and initiatives. This role is, however, primarily responsible for the end-to-end planning and rollout of infrastructure projects.

Detailed planning (incl. forecast budgets) of bulk infrastructure services, security and beautification projects
Planning and delivery of all bulk infrastructure and related projects (within approved budgets and timeframes)
Project-specific procurement and management of all professional teams and contractors;
Obtain and manage government approvals, regulation approvals, requirements, and maintaining these relationships while working closely with the town planner, top structure development team and operational teams;
Cost-effective management of vacant undeveloped land, while working closely with POAs, Operational teams and the Waterfall City General Manager; and
Assisting the development team from time to time with project-related matters.
Long-term and strategic planning of sufficient bulk services to the precinct;
Close alignment with city and town planning and approved rights that are in conformance with the Development Rights Agreement and the urban design;
Bulk servicing and resilience to townships for developments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Matric
Bachelor of Engineering or B.Sc Construction Management.
Professional registrations advantageous

EXPERIENCE

Technical: A minimum of 2-3 years experience managing projects in preferably Civil Engineering/Construction Management related fields.
Management: Experience in managing teams of professionals and works contractors and with internal and external stakeholders.
