Job Title: INTERNAL SALES PERSON ( Cape Town) Primo Park, Stikland Industrial Area

Reports to: BRANCH MANAGER

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES : To ensure continued sales and support with customers, from advice on products to placing and delivery of orders. Technical products.

• Liaising with clients both telephonically and
across the counter
• Attend and respond to client queries via the RT
system
• Daily cold calling – updating of customer
database
• Preparing verbal and written quotes.
• Follow-up and conclude all open orders and
open quotations
• Book delegates for training, ensure invoice and
payment is done. Handover
certificates to successful delegates
• Voluntarily assist trade shows and exhibitions
• Ensure demo room is tidy and stocked with
marketing material on a daily basis
• Encourage prospective clients to register onto
SAP, collect forms in return
• Entering orders into the system
• Liaising with Stores to ensure that orders are
prepare timeously
• Provide clients and external sales team with
sales support and marketing information
on all our products
• Update daily reports and MBU charts
• Give product presentations to individual clients
in our demonstration-area
• Provide basic technical support for the product
and provide alternative advise further
• Assist Sales Supervisor/ Sales Manager with up
to date client profile information
• It’s also imperative to attend our daily MBU
meetings to iron out issues received the
previous day.

Required Qualifications / Experience
• Minimum of a Matric with at least 1-2 years experience in a technical sales environment.
