The internal trainer is responsible for promoting a learning culture within the company. Satisfying the training requirements of the Business Teams according to identified training needs, and functionally contributing to the cohesiveness and objectives of the Business.

Key Performance Areas and Indicators:

General Training
• Liaise with key stakeholders on Training Needs Analysis
• Prepare needs-driven training according to a structured programme and organise all aspects of the training environment.
• Prepare and review all material for each training intervention.
• Conduct refresher training.
• Conduct induction/product training for new recruits.
• Maintenance of training records, both electronically and hard copy (where relevant/feasible)
• Research and Collaboration
• Identify and recruit relevant courseware.

Transformation:
• Be cognizant of transformation objectives, in so far as they pertain to Skills Development and BBBEE. Understand the role of the Learnership Programme as the Company’s transformational initiative.

Business Risk Identification & Mitigation:
• Identify resourcing risk and time allocation, and where necessary implement measures to mitigate the risk

Initiatives and Projects:
• Explore new technologies (e.g. social media) and their applicability to training.
• Engage with e-learning initiatives
