Job Description:

Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels.
Performing physical inventory counts.
Maintaining stock movement spreadsheets to aid management in the projection and planning of purchases for imported inventory.
Reconciling actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
Coordinating stores staff to perform inventory picking for orders and production.
Organize the warehouse inventory.
Overseeing the housekeeping of the warehouse facility.
Liaising with company branches and coordinating interbranch transfers.
Processing interbranch related transfers on the company’s accounting system/s.
Overseeing the accurate building of Bills of Material on the company’s accounting system/s.

Qualifications:

Have a minimum of two years’ experience in inventory control.
Be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
Have good administration skills.
Be a logical thinker and a team player.
Be hard working, dedicated and willing to help other staff even if this means working outside of normal hours.
Have a valid drivers’ licence.
Be self-driven with the view to offering the company improvements to products and systems.
Be bilingual in Afrikaans and English and be able to communicate with suppliers, clients, and company personnel.
Experience in working in Pastel Inventory Module and Bills of Material is advantageous
