Overview
We are looking for an Inventory Manager that will be able to ensure all inventory items are properly identified and is readily accessible in accordance with the organizations inventory cycle.
You will be responsible for accurate inventory of all incoming and outgoing customer products.
You will be overseeing, training, and mentoring inventory staff to ensure they follow company SOP’s and safety protocols amongst other things

Minimum Requirements:
Matric
Between 4 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Proficiency in Excel, Outlook etc.
SAP experience (beneficial)
Excellent English vocabulary

Duties and Responsibilities:
Execution of daily / weekly / monthly inventory analysis.
Overseeing stock item master data, identifying incorrect descriptions, stock numbers and amending as necessary.
Employing strategic goals for the department, and ensuring it gets obtained.
Stock take preparation and execution.
Correction of stock movement.
Online stock on hand quantity vs WMS match.
System capturing of stock counts
Improving and optimizing inventory control procedure.
Manage the inventory function efficiently and effectively to ensure optimal inventory control daily.
Create and implement appropriate inventory control systems within the warehouse to minimize inventory losses as far as possible.
Execute all inventory activities according to policies and procedure ensuring proper inventory management.
Maintain records of all inventory variances to establish procedures and ensure accuracy of all inventory items within the warehouse.
Monthly stock take / counts reporting.
Weekly customer reporting on their products.
Stock movement reporting.
Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
Develop and maintain accurate inventory reporting that measures the inventory departments performance, drive innovation to improve operational efficiency.
Effectively managing inventory rotation and proactively align space utilization.
Updating of all ISO documentation.
Propose & implement process improvement to increase service levels, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Identifying and resolving of stock discrepancies and problems.
Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
Performing daily checks to align WMS Inventory vs Physical Inventory (cycle count).
Locating incorrect bin locations per stock and ensuring rectifications.
Ensuring Housekeeping within the department are always up to standard.
Monthly stock takes on customer products and packaging.
Cycle counts on customer products.
Monitoring of all picking to ensure adherence to customer TAT and SLA’s.
Replenishment of stock to avoid insufficient stock availability for customer orders.
Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
Responsible of managing the movement and reconciliation of all finished goods within the warehouse.
Co-ordinate and manage ordering, receiving and storage of different packaging materials.
Training and mentoring of Inventory staff.
Delegation and monitoring of business requirements amongst Inventory staff.
Execution of Performance Management with all Inventory staff.
Approval of overtime and leave claims.
Implementing and evaluating inventory staff goals and KPI’s.
Recruit and train new employees.
