SUMMARY

Our client in Gauteng is urgently seeking an IT Auditor who is poised to drive the transformative journey of the business forward by catalyzing IT assurance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To conduct risk-based technology reviews which would include general controls, application controls, controls of application and data interfaces, pre and post-implementation, Onboarding, BCP, cyber security and special reviews at the request of management.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, compliance with regulations, and identifying areas for improvement.
Develop and execute audit programs, including testing and evaluating IT systems, infrastructure, and processes.
Deliver clear, concise reports outlining audit findings, recommendations, and action plans.
Collaborate and consult with other governance teams to gather information and understand the impact of IT risks on the business.
Providing IT and data analytics expertise and the transfer of skills thereof to the Internal Audit team.
Assisting the Internal Audit team with their data analytic requirements by sourcing data, building reports and interpreting data.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Post Graduate Qualification in Accounting/Auditing/IT/BSc IT
CISA
Have at least five years of IT Audit experience, preferably within the finance services industry.
Strong knowledge and understanding of IT general controls, IT governance, IT frameworks (COBIT and ISO 27001 etc.) and industry standards.
Proficiency in audit software and tools for data analysis and information gathering (SQL).
