A company in Pinetown is looking for an IT Help Desk Analyst

Main Objectives:
• The Helpdesk support analyst will serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email via a call logging platform
• Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
• Determine the best solution in line with company standards, based on the issue and details provided by customers
• Walk the customer through the problem-solving process

REQUIREMENTS
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Relevant IT Qualification, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Cisco CCNA or similar
• 3 -5 years’ experience in a similar position with referrals
• Knowledge and experience on Windows 7 and above, Windows Server 2008 R2 and above, Office 365
• Ability to diagnose and fix Hardware / Software problems
• Exposure and knowledge of Printers, cell phones, Networks, WI-FI, Bluetooth, Desktop and Laptop PCs
• Experience in performing basic active directory tasks
• Willing to learn, able to apply new technologies /methods as they become available
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)

Travel: occasional travel to regional offices to assist with support calls will be required in this role
Hours: this role is a shift-based role, working a rotation of week one from 8am till 5pm and week two from 9am till 6pm.
