JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT – (completed BCom degree and 3 years articles)

Essential requirements:
Our client located in Centurion is looking for a Junior Accountant in their Debtors department.
Must be able to speak, read and write in Afrikaans.
The ideal candidate will be a stable individual, eager to learn and who use own initiative.
A candidate who recently completed their 3 years article would be ideal or with no more than 1 -2 years post article work experiences.
This is a junior level accountant position – training and support will be given to the suitable candidate with regards to computer systems and company procedures.

Daily duties will include, but not limited to:
• Debtors’ queries; calculations and allocation
• Monitor the age analysis and provide assistance where required
• Inventory – Purchase Order; Goods Received Voucher; Reconciliations
• Review ad hoc requests for invoices and credit notes
• Ensure billing system rules are correct
• Attend to customer account queries raised by Key Account Managers

Weekly duties will include, but not limited to:
• Exception Report - investigation, corrections and updating of client rates

Monthly duties will include, but not limited to:
• Reviewing data received from billing system and processing monthly invoices
• Processing / calculating the manual adjustments for the month on rental
• Calculating the invoice values for large customer projects
• VAT reconciliation and e-filing
• Monitor all revenue accounts
• Collections and deliveries income vs cost
• Monthly reconciliations and reports
