Junior Buyer (FMCG) (CHE008)
Based: Germiston
Salary R15 – 18 000 pm

Qualifications, Matric or Higher
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in FMCG purchasing, stock and price negotiation A MUST (KEY REQUIREMENT)
• Computer literacy in Pastel Evolution advantageous
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to handle large volumes
• Own reliable vehicle/transport
• Stable employment records A MUST (long term employment at previous employers of minimum 1 year duration etc.)
• Contactable References
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Full buyer functions of wholesales plastic products supplier
Placing orders
Manage stock levels
Inventory optimization
Price negotiations
Souring quality suppliers and stock
Identifying/sourcing of stock items
Contact suppliers in writing or by telephone for any queries
Follow-up with suppliers concerning deliveries/special orders
Assist Sales Department with special stock inquiries.
Engage with suppliers/colleagues and clients in a professional manner
Stock Taking
Provide feedback to management
