We are seeking a candidate from a costing perspective to handle the key account, financial planning, forecasting, costing including the Quality requirements from suppliers to the manufacturer.

In a short version someone who understands numbers, values and data spreadsheets reflecting the information for costings before an order is finalized.

Requirements
1. Own Vehicle – travelling involved
2. Grade 12
3. Degree / Diploma advantageous (Cost Accounting / Supply Chain Management)
4. 3 years’ experience in a similar role
5. Procurement of raw materials and packaging
6. Attention to detail, process-driven and able to implement stock controls
7. Excellent administration skills
8. Computer literacy
9. Have worked on Pastel
10. Excellent Excel to keep costing updated
11. Cost accounting knowledge

Summarised Duties of the Position but not limited to;
1. Planning
• Planning the raw materials required for a production run.
• The packaging and palletising for the final product
• Deadlines for the delivery of raw materials to the manufacturer, duration for production, packaging and the transportation meeting the client delivery date.

2. Procurement
• Supplier file continuously updated with current price per a commodity.
• Suppliers registered with the various organisations and valid certificates.
• Suppliers forwarding the necessary COA to all required entities.
• Responsible for the purchasing of raw materials and packaging once approved by senior management.
• Retrieving information once production is completed on left over raw material and packaging
