A stationery company is looking for a junior sales rep, working within the sales team in the designated Gauteng Area, the aim of this function is to assist in servicing an existing customer base of the greater Johannesburg Area
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Servicing the needs of existing customers
• Collecting customer feedback
• Merchandising and adhering to the required merchandising standards and/or layouts of stores
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Perform a Caretaking role for the region in the event a Sales Rep is on leave or a vacant
position arises
• Responsible for the achievement of sales targets and goals
• Maintaining and increasing sales
• Establishing, maintaining, and expanding customer base
• Identifying opportunities and opening new accounts
• Building the brand through negotiating of the best possible space and exposure
• Collecting, documenting, and dispatching of returns
• Maintaining stock levels of consumables and merchandising material s in storage unit
• Vehicle maintenance and day to day care of vehicle
• Set up displays at customers and trade shows
• Logging daily customer contact on CRM

Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12 with exemption pass
• Minimum 1 2 years’ FMCG Sales experience
• Valid code 08 drivers’ licence
• Must be willing to travel and sleep out as and when required
• FMCG sales experience essential
• Computer literate
• Must have a clear credit history
