Netgen Custom Software opened for business in October 2000 and has offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Amsterdam. Our aim is to address specific needs related to custom application software. A large demand exists for custom-developed software at reasonable rates. Netgen develops custom software and databases that are primarily web-based and in recent years has moved into developing mobile applications as well.

The Business is spearheaded by the three founding members, Grant Scheffel, Hardy Esterhuizen and Matthew Vreenegoor who have a combined experience of nearly 60 years in the business together. The team is involved in every project and collectively oversees our operations locally and abroad.

Job Overview

The job will involve producing test cases and other data to stress test and ensure quality control after the development stage of the SLC. From there on passing bugs or issues back to the developers to ensure the best products are given to our clients. The Tester will ensure that a system never goes out without completely matching the specifications both in performance, look and feel as well as system rigidity. There will unlikely be any one day the same as the next as we deal with unique products every day.
