Junior Wage Administrator

To qualify the following are essential prerequisites:

-Matric is a minimum entry requirement
-Min 2 years working experience as a VIP Wage Clerk /Administrator
manufacturing environment
-Processing wages on VIP or similar Payroll package
-Experience with a time and attendance system – Kronos advantageous
-Computer literate (MS Office-Excel essential)
-Experience and knowledge of MEIBC and Main Agreement
-Must be highly meticulous and methodical
-Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
-Ability to work in a stressful environment with stringent deadlines
-Ability to use initiative and work with minimum supervision

Some of the Duties will include:

-Loading and updating all employee information on VIP/Kronos
-Exporting / Importing and completing the weekly wage run for all wage
employees
-Ensuring all employees deductions are correctly recorded and the
relevant deductions made
-Leave administration weekly
-Compiling and reconciling weekly and monthly information
-Preparing all monthly schedules / reconciling to the system and paid
over to the relevant Third Parties and ensure the Finance Department
receive them timeously
-Liaising with all Funds and Third Parties as required e.g. Provident
Fund / Iemas etc
