Job Description

Responsible for obtaining new clients
Responsible for developing and achieving sales through the direct sales channel
Continuously grow client base by proposing new solutions in order to meet their objectives, having regular meetings as well as generating new business ideas
Keep updated on key client needs or requirements
Write up business plans for existing and prospecting business
Will be the interface between clients and divisions in the company
Manage accounts and ensure targets are met with regards to profit margin, revenue growth and activities, products and service sales and customer retention or acquisition.
Liaise with and provide support to other Account Managers within the Business Unit
Create and propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners and exploring new opportunities
Analyse market strategies and deal requirements to screen potential business
Create negotiating strategies by studying integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations and risks/ potentials and by estimating the clients needs or goals
Organise site visits and make a bill of qualities according to the clients requirements
Negotiate prices with various suppliers
Finish off new business deals by means of coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts and account plans as well as integrating contracts requirements
Ensure data is entered correctly and managed in the CRM system
Maintain customer communication records and sales activities and ensure all information is kept confidential
Create and maintain sales forecasts and provide weekly reports and marketing intelligence to the Supervisor
Ensure all relevant documentation is always available
Identify trends in the market
Provide feedback to Management
Adhere to all quality standards set out by the company
Ensure clients are aware of all new products or relevant issues from the marketplace
Assist in accurately recording, updating and forecasting all sales pipeline and opportunities to the highest standard
Ad hoc travel may be required

Minimum Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Marketing/ Business Administration /Sales or a relevant field
5 years’ exp in sales, management and key accounts management
Proven track record of delivering client solutions / meeting sales goals
Knowledge of company’s key clients and their position in the industry
Exp. in analysing data and sales statistics and working out sales deals in accordance with budgeted margins and company policies
Proficient in MS Office (Excel), CRM software
Valid driver’s license
